IT Specialist

Perform daily operations IT Helpdesk related tasks. Identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve incidents. Managing and maintain hardware and software deployed throughout the company, which includes but is not limited to Desktops, Servers, Software, Network Communication and Backup System.

Job responsibilities:

  • Identify problems that result in recurring incidents.
  • Analyze the cause of the problem and manage procedures to reduce or eliminate recurring incidents.
  • Ensure IT Helpdesk priorities are aligned with priorities of the company.
  • Minimize downtime of applications and performance issues.
  • Ensure service requests are properly documented and the requester is informed of relevant information.
  • Provide remote support to our Call Center based in Colombia.
  • Design procedures to standardize IT services.
  • Ensure adherence to IT Policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment.
  • Identify and maintain inventory of spare equipment needed to resolve incidents in a timely manner. Manage purchasing of required IT assets according to management directives and IT department needs.
  • Be able to handle escalation calls and work towards resolving the issues identified.
  • Monitor Core IT infrastructure to help proactively solve incidents and identify possible causes of problems.
  • Manage and support IT applications within the organization such as the CRM and other related systems.
  • Key Credentials:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT/ Computer Science or related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience managing a Help Desk system.
  • Experience in VMware, MS Server and other related MS systems.
  • Experience Troubleshooting Desktops, Printers, Network Equipment, Servers, Backup Systems, and other IT devices.
  • Experience supporting software from multiple vendors and custom software.
  • Customer Service and interpersonal relations skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively in Spanish and English.

    Accountant: Position Overview

    Assists the external CPA and Revenue Cycle Manager with all aspects of the accounting cycle including monthly reconciliations, account receivables and payables, payroll and compliance procedures. Responsible for the Facilities administration.

    Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable
    • Weekly reconciliation between accounting and billing system.
      • Billing
      • Collections
      • Adjustments
    • Post payments in accounting system
  • Inventory
    • Purchases
      • On a weekly basis, verify prospective sales with inventory on hand to prepare and submit PO’s.
  • Receiving
    • Match purchase order with supplier invoice and receive items.
  • Audit
    • On a weekly basis, make random inventory audits.
  • Accounts Payable
    • Register inventory and non-inventory invoices.
    • Paid invoices according to supplier’s payment terms.
    • Request services and supplies, according to management needs.
  • Payroll
    • Register payroll transactions in accounting system.
  • End of Month
    • Reconcile bank accounts.
    • Reconcile other assets and liabilities accounts.
    • Publish interim financial statements to management.

    Key Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or related field. An equivalent of a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Quickbooks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, a must in Excel.
  • Knowledge of the Accounting Cycle.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an accounting department environment.
  • Strong knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.

    Sales Director

    Oversees the Sales & Clinical Division and supervises the Clinic Alliances Manager and his/her team and the Sales Representatives to ensure they meet the goals assigned per territory. Responsible for the promotional plans and strategies aligned with company plans of action for Diabetes products, through calls and visits to physicians (including sub-specialists), associations and related personnel. Develop relationships with new and existing customers (ie. Physicians, associations, clinic personnel). Provide product knowledge and information to customers ethically complying with corporate mission and values. Plan and execute educational or medical established activities. This position must understand and adheres to all applicable laws, regulations and policies. Proactively identifies, evaluates and appropriately shares industry and company developments which may relate to law compliance.

    Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops Sales Plan in alignment the President’s vision.
  • Develops Clinical Plan with Clinic Alliances Manager feedback and in alignment with the President’s vision.
  • Supervise the Sales Force making sure they comply with the protocols and policies required for the Sales process.
  • Assist and coach the Sales Representatives making sure the team’s goals are met.
  • Train the Sales force in the diabetes products and processes.
  • Leads the training and orientation efforts designed to associations, groups, and physicians as required.
  • Promotes and sells diabetes products to established and potential customers (i.e. Though Leaders, Physicians, Office Personnel, Key Physicians, Nursing Personnel, associations, etc.)
  • Prepares and updates physician and customer profiles.
  • Interacts with customers on one-to-one sessions, sales team meetings and stand-up presentations.
  • Explains treatment and benefits to customers in order to treat the disease accordingly.
  • Demonstrates in-depth product, market and competitor’s knowledge.
  • Provides samples to physicians as applicable and maintains record and accountability for samples.
  • Proactively maintains abreast of changes in their medical field.
  • Maintains a continuous professional relationship with key opinion leaders in the medical community.
  • Addresses key customer needs through the creation and successful implementation of business plans.
  • Discusses characteristics and clinical studies pertaining to diabetes products with physicians and other potential customers (i.e. Key Opinion Leaders, and Associations.)
  • Maintains customer profiles and call notes, and sets next call objective after every customer contact.
  • Responsible for achieving assigned territory budget. Prepares activities report reflecting territory promotion and selling activities.
  • Coordinate activities.
  • Evaluates results versus assigned objectives.
  • Analyzes territory sales performance data and identifies areas for improvement.

  • Key Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy, Science or related fields.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a managerial role within sales and promotion of pharmaceutical products – Diabetes experience preferable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point) and Internet applications.

  • Maintains a continuous professional relationship with key opinion leaders in the medical community among other industries.

    Coordinador(a) Pre-Autorizaciones: Position Overview

    Patient care coordinator is responsible to initiate and complete the process that results in the authorization, letter of agreement and financial responsibilities of the DME prescribed.

    Job responsibilities

  • Manage member inquires related to DME within established turnaround times and in compliance with Medicare, regulatory requirements and standard operating procedure.
  • Coordinate with the insurance companies, medical office and patient for authorization and LOA approval, in compliance with Medicare and regulatory requirements.
  • Validate in company’s system the demographic and physical information, that patient intake coordinator obtained.
  • Review and analyze medical information to ensure is accurate and complete.
  • Accomplish service quote, delivery receipt and patient financial responsibility.
  • Coding the HCPCS in compliance with LCD’s and ICD-10.
  • Submit clinical and financial information via fax, email or speaking directly to a designated representative in the insurance.
  • Maintains an excellent communication with medical office and healthcare insurance representatives.
  • Provide consistent follow up to the Medical Carriers.
  • Review authorizations and LOA from payer to determine approved DME, codes, units, rates and authorization timeframe.
  • Maintains an excellent communication with patients about their case, their financial responsibility, answer their questions and provide orientation about the process of future DME prescriptions.
  • Complete insurance verification, as well as, patient co-pays and deductibles due at time of service.
  • Document all communication, upload appropriate documents into the company system, and document clear concise notes in our database to ensure accounts are up-to-date.
  • Once the case is complete, communicate with patient care technician to ensure inventory availability and assign it to start the delivery process.
  • Work closely with all areas to assure a proper process.
  • Meet production metrics and daily workflow.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Key Credentials:

  • Billing knowledge required and / or medical office assistant course preferred.
  • Experience with pre – authorization process with Health insurance carriers.
  • One year (1) of experience in a similar position in a medical office environment preferred.
  • HIPAA certification or equivalent in knowledge and experience.
  • Well organized.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Electronic health record a must.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred.

  • Minimum of three (2) years of experience in sales and promotion of products and services
  • Diabetes experience preferable.
  • Prior medical device, business to business or pharmaceutical sales experience preferred.
  • Strong data analysis, evaluation and problem-solving skills.
  • Fully Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point) and Internet applications.
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to impact and influence key customers and opinion leaders.
